The Supsoo LED Solar String Lights are Eco-friendly and use solar power to recharge the built in battery. It took us on average 8 hours to fully charge the battery. A fully charged battery lasted just over 8 hours at night.
The solar panels on these Christmas lights really did need direct sunlight to charge the battery. If there was fading light or cloud then the charging was not very good. Each solar panel is 2 volts and 100 mA and the NI-MH battery is an AA size and rated at 600 mA.
The Supsoo LED Solar String Lights are waterproof. We never fully immersed them in water but they had to endure heavy rain and they worked very well. You can change between a permanently on mode and a twinkling mode.

We charged the battery for an hour and was able to get around 3 hours of light from them. On a fully charged battery we achieved over 9 hours of light. The lights switch on automatically in the dark and turn off as soon as dawn breaks.
The LETTON Solar Lights Multicolors are good value for money considering that you get a 30 crystal ball led on the 21ft light strand. They work well and these lights are larger than the other models that made our top five.
