Overall it's a great system. It requires some space but this kind of heating system is all about surface area.

We bought and installed one S240U kit (2 panels total)
Installation
As others have noted, a little difficult. The panels come curled up tightly and getting them flat can be a challenge. I used a beach towel and a 12" x 12" concrete paver on each end. The towel was just to keep the concrete from touching the panel directly. Our existing setup used 1.5inch hose, so I had to convert the panels over as well to not sacrifice water flow. I found the parts I needed at a local big box hardware store for like $5. I also bought a couple 6ft 1.5in hose pieces. Another tip - put at least 3 or 4 layers of Teflon tape around each joint. Otherwise you will have leaks.
Results
After hooking everything up and turning it on, I can immediately feel results by putting my hand in front of the pool jet. I would estimate the water is easily 6-8 degrees warmer - maybe more. Its hard to tell.
We had a few very mild days in the Midwest in early August. Our pool temp went from 88 down to the high 70s which is what prompted me to get this unit unboxed and setup. The first full day in use last week, our pool went from 80 to 87 in a single day. We are fortunate in that our pool area receives direct sunlight almost the entire day as do the panels. From reading reviews, I notice some people run extensive piping so they could put their panels on a fence, roof, out of the what, etc. I chose to keep mine as close to the pool as possible. I can't help but wonder if some folks loose some of their heat on the long return run to their pool.
If I assume the panel heats the water going through it +6-8 degrees, and I am able to circulate half my pool water in a day (10,000 gal) then it's safe to say this thing is capable of adding 3-4 extra degrees per day. Not bad at all, considering the price point. Our pool has been at 88-90 since installing with daily highs around 84/85 and overnight lows in the high 50's (we do use a solar cover at night).
One other thing to note if you have a larger pool - this does restrict water flow even though I fit it with 1.5in hoses. The typical PSI on my filter went from 15 to 20 and the flow from the jet is not quite as strong as it once was...my next step will be to figure out how to isolate the panels with diverter valves so they're only used when needed. Right now they're inline with my filter, chlorinator, etc.
The panels were actually the least expensive part of the project. All together I spent about $1000 for this set up, but I had a lot of fun doing it. My house is too far away from the pool to run pipe through the yard and up to the roof. The pool gets only about 4-5 hours of sunlight a day, but the area around the pool gets up to 9 hours of sunlight per day. The problem is this: the area with sun changes from the west side of the pool to the east throughout the day. So how can I capture sun all day long for heating purposes? Build a "roof with wheels"! Despite being 20' long, I can easily wheel this thing around by myself. The solar panels are connected to the pool with 1-1/4 flexible sump pump pipe. I originally T-ed this into my filter pump, but I found that trying to run it using the same pump as the filter created too much resistance for the filter to effectively clean the pool; so I purchased a separate 1.5 hp pump just for the heating system I also created a separate outlet and inlet for this system so that I could pull colder water from the top of the pool and push warm water in toward the bottom ( on opposite sides of the pool).
It might seem complicated, but it really works well, and we've got it down to one move of the panels per day at about 1pm. If you can put these somewhere that the get sun most of the time, and provide sufficient throughput, you will not be disappointed!
